Visibility, CO concentration, and sometimes NO concentration are vital criteria for assessing air quality in road tunnels. The sensor uses the available natural air stream in the tunnel. This leads to a greater time for escape and orderly evacuation. (If fog is a potential issue, any influence caused by fog will be eliminated by optional heating elements).

The Spyglass system detects hydrocarbon gases by analysing the absorption of radiation caused by gases in the atmosphere and comparing it to background atmospheric absorption. Once the calibration gas cylinders are relieved of pressure they are NOT considered hazardous material or waste. Nearly all of our mixtures contain only a very small amount of a hazardous chemical(s) as a minor component in the gas mixture requested. The fact that it is such a small amount (usually in the ppm range) always precludes the gas mixture from ever being classified as hazardous.

Our EcoSmart cylinder program is an environmentally-friendly way to reduce waste caused by empty cylinders. We have six EcoSmart cylinder sizes and offer a free, easy way to return used cylinders for future use.

The A131 is a high output 131dB(A) @ 1 metre electronic siren in a compact and easy to install package. Using up to four speakers, it can be mounted in a variety of ways for applications with sound coverage requirements up to 300m.

The A131 modular system is ideal as a plant alarm to cover outdoor locations, areas with high background noise or smaller COMAH (Seveso II) applications. Offering a choice of three alarm stages, selected from a choice 45 tones including many national standard tones, it can be incorporated in fire, security and general alarm systems where existing equipment is not powerful enough or the system needs expanding.
