Extract OG Calculator Solutions

ProDetec supplies inline extract OG calculator solutions for Australia’s breweries and beer-based beverage producers. Our systems measure original gravity, real extract and apparent extract continuously and in real time, right inside the brewing process, so you don’t have to rely on manual sampling, lab analysis or offline OG calculator extract calculations. Accurate OG extract values matter for process control, recipe compliance, ABV labelling accuracy and excise reporting, none of which can be reliably managed by periodic spot-checks alone when you’re producing at high volume.

ProDetec’s primary instruments for OG extract measurement are the Centec Plato Monitor, a sound velocity-based inline sensor for continuous original gravity determination during filtration and pre-filler stages, and the Centec Beer Monitor, which simultaneously measures alcohol and extract with original gravity automatically calculated and displayed in real time. Both instruments work as inline extract OG calculator systems, removing manual intervention and giving breweries the measurement precision they need to produce consistent, compliant products at scale.

With over 22 years of experience and local engineering support across Australia, ProDetec supplies, commissions and supports the full Centec brewing measurement range for producers of all sizes.

Beer Monitor

To determine 3 crucial components of beer production: OG, extract and alcohol

The Centec Beer Monitor is a specific variant of the CombiTec which combines the functionality of both the RhoTec (density measurement) and SonaTec(sound velocity measurement).

Using the density and sound velocity properties of each liquid, the correlation between those 2 properties and concentration are defined by a mathematical polynomial. With decades of experience and our own laboratory facilities, Centec has developed polynomials for a large number of products. Any temperature drifts of the measured signal are automatically compensated for by an internal Pt1000 sensor.

The Beer Monitor is designed for those applications which require maximum sensitivity at the highest accuracy. It is easy to operate and maintenance-free.
