Description

Technical Description – VENTEX Passive Isolation Valve

Passive and automatic fast-closing valve, closed by the pressure wave

In the case of an explosion, the VENTEX valve automatically quickly closes due to the pressure wave preceding the flame jet. The valve also resists explosion pressure and once closed, prevents flame propagation.

VENTEX advantages:

  • Suitable for airflow, gas or for hybrid mixtures
  • Pressure loss remains minimal due to internal aerodynamic profile and smooth internal surface
  • No contamination of the product in the case of triggering
  • After manual unlocking of the valve and a thorough visual inspection, the process can be quickly
