Filter Leak Detection Solutions

ProDetec supplies filter leak detection solutions for Australia’s mining, grain handling, powder processing, timber, chemical, and manufacturing facilities, providing continuous, fast-response monitoring of baghouses, dust collectors, and filtration systems to identify broken bags, filter deterioration, and seal failures the moment they occur. An undetected filter leak allows fine particulate to bypass the filtration system entirely, resulting in product loss, uncontrolled dust emissions, downstream equipment contamination, and potential regulatory breaches under Australian environmental protection obligations.

ProDetec’s filter leak detector range is built on Sintrol’s patented Inductive Electrification technology, delivering superior sensitivity compared to traditional triboelectric methods and significantly reducing false alarms caused by sensor contamination, temperature drift, or velocity changes. The Sintrol S201 Dust Guard provides dual ALERT and ALARM relay outputs for staged response to filter deterioration events, while the S101 and S103 offer fast-response leak detection and filter monitoring in smaller duct systems under 80cm.

With over 22 years of experience and local engineering support across Australia, ProDetec supplies, commissions, and supports the full Sintrol filter leak detection range for facilities of all sizes.

Range of Filter Leak Detection Solutions

Sintrol S101 / S103 Filter Monitor | Broken Bag Detector

Sintrol S101 / S103 Filter Monitor | Broken Bag Detector

The Sintrol S101 / S103 filter monitor is a fast-response dust detector engineered to identify broken bags and filter leaks in small duct systems under 80 cm. Based on proven inductive electrification technology, it detects any particulates in the airflow and responds rapidly to dust breakthrough, helping minimise product loss and protect downstream equipment.

The S101 features two adjustable solid-state alarm relays, while the S103 adds an active isolated 4–20 mA output for continuous trend monitoring. Both variants are ATEX and IECEx certified, with rugged IP66 construction, visible status LEDs, self-teaching Auto Setup, and selectable FAST, MEDIUM, and SLOW response modes.
