The demand for production safety and fire prevention in the woodworking industry has therefore increased. By tailoring a fire protection system using fast IR-radiation detection and flame detection in combination with effective water spray extinguishing and water mist suppression, Firefly aims to avoid costly fires and dust explosions in the woodworking industry.

A fire in a belt conveyor is often hard to extinguish and can spread very quickly. In worst case it can spread to surrounding material stacks and could last for weeks, causing major loss of revenue and production downtime.

The purpose of the Firefly ConveyorGuardTM-solution is to automatically detect and suppress a fire at an early stage and to stop the conveyor belt as quickly as possible. The Firefly ConveyorGuardTM-solution can be complemented with Firefly open area flame detectors and/or LTS cable

Once the calibration gas cylinders are relieved of pressure they are NOT considered hazardous material or waste. Nearly all of our mixtures contain only a very small amount of a hazardous chemical(s) as a minor component in the gas mixture requested. The fact that it is such a small amount (usually in the ppm range) always precludes the gas mixture from ever being classified as hazardous.

Our calibration gas cylinder recycling program is an environmentally-friendly way to reduce waste caused by empty cylinders. We offer a free, easy way to return used cylinders for future use.
